b. Describe and differentiate various types of building finishes for floor, wall, ceiling,
and roof.
Assignment Requirement
You (individual) will be assignment with one type of construction materials/products, and
you shall interview the manufacturer/supplier and research on the assigned and produce
a comprehensive report covering the following sections.
Sections in the Report, and Marking Scheme
a. Cover page with name and I/C number
b. Content page
c. Introduction of company and product (max. 1 page) 5%
d. Define and explain the strength and limitation of product (max. 3 pages) 15%
e. Estimate materials, installation and labour cost (max. 1 pages) 5%
f. Example of completed/installed works (max. 2 pages) 5%
